Connect Empatico to Gorgias
To enable Empatico to analyze your customer conversations in Gorgias, please grant API access by following these steps.
Important: Administrator privileges are required to access API settings and generate API keys. This ensures proper access to all necessary features and data that Empatico needs to function correctly.
Step 1: Log in to Gorgias
- Access your Gorgias account with administrator privileges
Step 2: Access API Settings
- In the left sidebar, click on Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down to the "You" section
- Select REST API
Step 3: Generate API Key
- In the Password (API Key) section, click Create API Key
- A new alphanumeric key will be generated
Important: Copy this key and store it securely. You won't be able to see it again.
Step 4: Provide Credentials to Empatico
Send the following information to Empatico:
- Base API URL: The base URL of your API, shown in the REST API section
- User Email: Your email address used to log in to Gorgias
- API Key: The key you just generated
Note: With these credentials, Empatico will be able to securely access your Gorgias account.
Security Recommendations
- Keep these credentials in a secure location and do not share them with unauthorized individuals
- If you suspect the credentials have been compromised, revoke the key from your platform's settings and generate a new one
